So how do you know you are one :
1. You feel the emotions of others
Have you ever cried because your friend, neighbor or any random person is crying? Pro'ly you felt what they felt eventhough it was not affecting you directly... This mostly happens in a situation of a heartbreak, bereavement or any trouble. If you have, then probably you are an empath. What of being happy because someone is happy? You're not left out. You are an empath too.
2. You take the energy of others
Have you ever felt weak because a stranger attacked your conscience intentionally or unintentionally? What of feeling good because someone lifted the other-not only in real life but maybe also in a movie you were watching or in a novel you were reading? Many people will agree that this is mostly common in ladies but wait, I've seen a number of men who posses this too. Well, it's not only for emotional people but to empaths too.
3. Others happiness make you happy
Do you constantly feel like everyone should be happy and if they aren't, you aren't too. Guess what? That simply means you are an empath.
4. You are drained by negativity
Ever heard someone talk about the other and it sucked you? Probably that was someone you never knew or maybe someone was trynna talk shit about someone development , something good, some tribe, politician but it made you irritated? Trust me, you're an empath.
5. Strangers ask you for advice
Ever noticed strangers open up to you easily? Well, you must be one too. Empaths have a magic wand that makes people to feel free with them. Why so? They spread positivity.
6. You're intuition is really accurate
People constantly say your intuition is your best friend but have you ever realized sometimes it can be driven by your insecurities? Well, empaths intuitions aren't affected by insecurity. Everything they suspect turn out to be real. Strange, right? Well, that's just how they are.
7. You feel drawn to help others
No matter how empaths feel, they will always help others. They sometimes choose to put others first and sit on their problems. They are the kind of people who will always be there for everybody no matter what. They don't hold grudges and don't expect for a payback. Most empaths only say their day is complete after they've touched someone's life positively.
8. The weather affects their moods
Though this happens to lots of people, empaths' is worst. Harsh weather conditions make them dull and moody . When there is sunshine, they brighten up but cold and storms make them dull. Wondering how that happens? You've not met a real empath then.
9. You can feel things before they happen
It's not prophetic but it's kinda strange that some people feel when things are about to happen. For instance, there are people who sense danger without knowing what might be coming or even smell success and suddenly get ready for it. Well, those are the empaths.
10. You listen to people's energy, not words
An empath will ignore everything you say and choose to watch how you act. It's not being impossible as some people say, it's just their nature to not believe in words as words constantly disappoint.
Empaths are candles , they look boring but once they light they bring a nice scent and lighten our day, embrace them.
