GHOST!

I had never believed in the existance of ghosts nor did I ever believe I could one day believe in their existance. Not because am Super ordinary but because I had never met them in real life. Stories of existance of some ghost called Mafia back in high school was equally a tale to me until I joined Campus.

I had finally managed to live my dream. Of course everything comes with expectations but not in all aspects. My first day in campus was terrific. My parents had just left to home and I had to face the "outside world" my high school teachers told me before. No more school rules, preps, evening laps and bell to control us. What a joy!

My roommate was equally as timid as me but that was not a threat, I would soon get used to her. The day moved so fast and before even noticing, it was dusk. People were moving out making noise but I chose to stay indoors since I wasn't used to walking at night. Neither was I sure where they were heading to. My roommate was equally picked by her boyfriend and they walked out. The small room we had to share suddenly turned into a big multi-purpose hall. A drop of pin echoed so loudly leaving my heart pumping faster than the normal rate.

All of a sudden, the ground felt vacant. Everyone disappeared and silence took to authority. The experience was not far from my high school experience. What created the difference was freedom to dress on anything, eat anything and socialise with boys which somehow felt unfamilliar to me. Maybe I would get used to that culture, but still, the 'prisoner' feeling did not change. Otherwise, the "Campus is paradise" cliche was just a trush. I looked through the window inorder to destruct myself from the boredome just as I used to do at home while fantasizing. Where could my boyfriend be? He was also a fresher like me and I bet he was also adopting to to the "mistaken paradise. "

All of a sudden, I got destructed by something strange. There were two strange - looking trees standing at a close interval. They were neither thin nor short but very scary. The trees moved like human beings clapping hands.. But why didn't I see them during the day? Were they the ghosts I used to hear of? Oh no! This could not be true. Filled with curiosity and fear, I stood still not hesitating to move. Maybe they were a wife and husband ghosts... Maybe they had noticed me looking at them and were discussing how to reach to me and swallow me alive.

I suddenly felt cold and numb but decided to remain still. Maybe that could scare them away. To my astonishment, the trees moved closer every minute. What if they turned to one big ghost and bombarded the building? Thoughts of my family quickly ran down my mind. I had to do everything to keep myself alive just for their sake. Hell came when they moved closer and became one fat tree. But how? How the hell was one side taller than the other? The tree neither  had branches nor leaves. As it is usually said, prevention is better than cure, I had to do anything in order to save the situation. My family, my friends and equally my boyfriend ; the potential man of my dreams, though not sure if he needs me today, would still need me in future. I got the courage, took one side of my new stilettoes and threw it towards the dirrection where the ghost was. To my surprise, two human beings ran towards different directions. Still confused, I giggled and concluded those were just two love birds. Please love birds, next time dont scare frreshers.
